Clare is the Director of CritEcoCare Ltd., bringing a wealth of expertise in sustainable procurement and healthcare leadership. With a distinguished career as a senior nurse leader, Clare has successfully driven sustainable clinical procurement initiatives and inter-organisational healthcare programmes.

Her experience spans hospital and healthcare settings, as well as the implementation of regional and national programmes. She is highly skilled in leading and managing system-wide change, leveraging her ability to influence key stakeholders and build strong networks. Clare’s passion lies in creating a more sustainable NHS, ensuring that procurement decisions align with environmental responsibility and long-term healthcare resilience.

A thought leader in the field, Clare is also the author of several academic papers including "It's not easy being green" (Nash, 2023), a resource designed to guide healthcare organisations toward more sustainable purchasing choices.
